Unifrog – Unifrog is our main careers platform that we use in school. Unifrog brings all the available information into one single, impartial, user-friendly platform that helps students to make the best choices, and submit their strongest applications. Students are able to search different careers, find out about the skills required for different jobs, pay levels and much more. The platform is also used for the students to reflect on their skills and competencies they are developing throughout their journey at St Bernard’s 

National Careers Service – a comprehensive careers website with job profiles, outlining: the skills required, main tasks, pay levels and career prospects for hundreds of different jobs. In addition, valuable guidance on the different stages involved in getting a job.

Amazing Apprenticeships – the Amazing Apprenticeships is a leading organisation in the education sector, founded to tackle misconceptions about apprenticeships and promote the benefits. We work closely with the amazing apprenticeships team as they deliver workshops for all stakeholders in school and virtually.

UCAS – a very helpful website for students thinking of applying to higher education.   Also contains valuable information on different options, including apprenticeships – is a careers and educational information and development website. Since 2005 they have been helping people to secure their dream job. The website has information about a variety of careers and also has careers specific resources which you can purchase.

GoCompare has put together a report that reveals the riskiest jobs in the UK, seeing how dangerous each industry is and how much it costs the business. They have analysed average salaries across the UK to find out how much you can earn if you choose to work in one of the top five riskiest professions. This is information is really interesting and important for students to learn about the current labour market.
