Enrichment Curriculum

St. Bernard’s is a school which is focused on developing and nurturing the interests and talents of all students, both within and beyond the academic curriculum.

Our enrichment curriculum runs at the end of the school day Tuesday-Thursday and offers students the opportunity to engage in a range of exciting activities. From anime club, cheerleading, film club, future chef competition to HIIT fitness, mindfulness, The Duke of Edinburgh Award and Irish dancing, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. The enrichment curriculum brings something fun and fresh to school life and encourages students to learn and socialise with pupils from all year groups.

To ensure our students are given every opportunity to achieve their potential, for students who are working towards examinations, there is extensive lunchtime and after school help and advice, as well as study residentials.

Beyond our after school enrichment offer, there are many opportunities for students to visit theatres, art galleries, museums and science centres as well as residential trips and religious retreats both within the UK and beyond.
