Our Behaviour & Culture is centred on three very simple concepts:
- that all young people enjoy being effectively rewarded for their effort;
- that most young people need clear guidelines in terms of what constitutes acceptable behaviour;
- and that effective communication between teachers, parents/carers and students is essential for effective schools.
Students who “get it right” at St Bernard’s whether it be their attendance, attitude to learning or academic progress, are recognised through our rewards and recognition systems.
For any concerns about Behaviour and Culture, please contact Mrs Graham (Vice Principal for Behaviour and Culture) or your child’s Head of House or Head of Year.
