Instrumental Tuition offered at Saint Bernard’s

  • £103.33 per Term for a 20 minute lesson for Guitar, Ukulele and percussion if your child attends one music lunchtime activity and concerts.
  • £84 per Term for a 20 minute lesson for woodwind, strings and brass if your child attends one music lunchtime activity and concerts.
  • A total of 30 lessons will be provided over the school year (approximately 10 per term)
  • Students receiving instrumental lessons within school must make a regular contribution to the musical life of St Bernard’s by participating in at least one lunchtime music group per week and attending school concerts.

School Subsidization of Fees

  • Children who receive free school meals may be entitled to subsidized fees.


  • Invoices will be sent out to parents/guardians at the beginning of a term.
  • Payments terms are 28 days from the date on the invoice.
  • If payments are not made within the 28 days then your child will be withdrawn from their lesson. Please call Jane Myers if you need to discuss payments.
  • In line with the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda and the ethos of St Bernard’s School, we recognise that students must not be prevented by economic disadvantage from achieving their full potential in life. If for any reason you are unable to meet either the whole or part of these costs a remission form may be requested from school. We would like to reassure you that remission forms are dealt with in the strictest confidence
